Shocker!

After decades of being fashionably challenged, pregnancy doesn't magically change this.
After three hours and three stores (not including drive time), I ended up with a maternity t-shirt. Pretty frickin' lame considering all of those baby-doll fashions are back right now and every pregnany woman I see looks good in clothes?!?!
Anyway - thoroughly disgusted with the in person stuff, I have resorted to online-ing it.
We'll see what happens.

Kickin' away on the inside

Someone (who we mostly refer to as "Bubba" and "your son") is kickin' his little heart out. What I've been feeling for a couple of weeks (from the inside), was experienced from the outside by both of us over this past weekend. I was reading in bed and felt a pretty good one. Put my hand in the same spot and sure enough, grabbed Kel's hand and he felt the next one. Pretty real now.

Went to a 22 wk appointment today - and surprise - bubba was active. The doctor of the month (have to see all five at this point) dopplered the little guys heart beat. He dodge and weaved a little, and then got 'em - 3 beats - and then a whole bunch more squirmin' around. Next appointment is the dreaded glucose test. I hate needles (unless they are used for knitting).
Kiddo will probably be super active after that.
