I used to keep a blog...

In discussions, it was mentioned that I used to keep a blog (she kept two blogs actually :) )
And then toddler happened. He has been walking for a full year now. And I have been running for almost a full year. I honestly should be in better shape with all of the damn chasing I've been doing.
Today I have approximately three minutes to bore you and I CAN NOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME think of anything that has been going on in the last year.
Except that I pulled off the surprise party (today) for DH without him knowing about it. And not even really suspecting it. Kind of wish I invited a couple more friends, bc it turns out some of them kind of let me down on a repeated basis.
They are decidedly his friends though.
I tend to surround myself with people who are the rock stars of the friend world. People who lend you their ears and kitchens. Will watch your kid before you even get the full question out. Appreciate a road trip for no good reason other than to go and know from the tone of your voice the right questions to ask - or not to ask.
And they show up to a party - not just because they know there will always be a mimosa waiting for them during brunch (but it doesn't hurt either).
